The "ERDEN Werkhalle" is the largest rammed earth manufacturing facility of its kind worldwide, with a production length exceeding 40 meters. The centrepiece is the machine Roberta, responsible for feeding the earth mixture into the formwork, levelling it to the desired height, and compacting it. Tailored to contemporary architecture, the demands of the construction industry, and large-scale construction processes, the production is finely optimised. The Elements are crafted according to the specifications provided by LehmTonErde, then refined, dried, and transported to the construction site for placement. On-site, these elements undergo retouching, resulting in the formation of a monolithic structure. Pioneered by Martin Rauch, this production method serves as a blueprint for executing large-scale projects, with his expertise in establishing similar production facilities sought after internationally.
