Les Trois Voeux  (the three wishes) is the name of the property and, with its three wells, presumes a special story and connection to the ground. It is located in the small village Les Mérys amid forests and fertile fields in Burgundy, France. 

 

The outdoor fireplace was the perfect location to build and experience a sculpture made with Earth and Fire. The earth was dug from underneath the layers of ashes of fires. The typical soil of the region of the Bourgogne is a brown-reddish earth with a strong clay content mixed with light lime stones. Only the excavated material was used for the rammed earth construction. 

Personal offerings and wishes were added during the process of ramming and firing.
